Bournemouth wont be a push over but then again predicting uniteds form is impossible. Even for Jose Mourinho. Especially for Jose Mourinho. \
TOP THINGS TO CONSIDER
The curious case of Paul Pogba is a fantastic study. Its not looking so good for the dab-champ Pogboom, with reports stating that Mou wants him out. Take this news with a pinch of salt. With Carrick already retiring- letting Pogba go will neither be sensible nor very profitable.
The tongues were already wagging went Pogba was taken off- his critics were on his tail once again. But all it takes is one look at the derby to remember what hes capable of. As a personal opinion - i hope he does start. He needs his form against Spurs.
2) Will the real Man United please stand-up?
Watching Man United play against City was difficult. The first half because we were dreadful and so was Sterling. The second half because it was the opposite- we were good but could we defeat them. Could we silence the noisy neighbours? Turns out- we could and we did.
But against west brom it was a case of mistaken identity. First half united showed up and lacked any sort of intent. Boredom and flat football. Looked like we needed a goal to get going- and when they scored one. It was too late. One set piece. One goal. One loss and Manchester City were the champions.
3) What do we need for next year?
Do we need new players? A new manager? Are all of our problems because of a particular left-back?
Is Pep simply too good or are we too bad?
We could end this season with points that in another year could have won us the league. But, it pains me to say it but City were better. They were better in more matches than we were and played some exciting football.
What we need is passion. Passion to do better. Passion to not just play better against- Liverpool or City or Arsenal. But passion to break down strong defences and win against those defensive sides.
All we can do is take it one game at a time and hope. Hope for better. For now- lets beat the cherries.
GLORY GLORY MAN UNITED.
